You sure can't tell from the weather we've been having lately. We had a freak end of March snow storm where it snowed on and off for 4 days. It didn't stay on the ground for very long but it was definitely snowing.
Brock's brother, Robert, is getting married this weekend in Las Vegas so we're getting ready to fly out for the wedding. It's sure to be a fun weekend. And I'm definitely looking forward to the break from the cold and getting a little sunshine.
We've all been keeping busy. Brock has taken on another couple jeep projects (yes a couple, as in 2). He found a great deal on a '97 Jeep Cherokee Limited that needed a little bit of work so he sold Grimace, the '89 Cherokee he was fixing for Sarah, and is going to fix up the new '97 for himself and then give Sarah the'98 Cherokee he's driving right now as her first car...she turns 16 in September...the only catch is she has to learn how to drive a stick!
Right after Brock sold Grimace a buddy of his was moving out of state and offered us his '91 Jeep Commanche Pick-up Truck for a steal...so of course "we" couldn't pass it up...Brock says he's fixing up the truck for me...we'll see.
I am finally on my last quarter of school. In the winter I took database class 2 of 3 and a computer programming class and they went really well. I liked the computer programming a lot more than I thought I was going to, it was easier than I thought it would be too. This quarter I am taking an advanced web design class, where we will learn active server pages, and my final database class. So it will be another busy quarter but I am definately looking forward to the increased skill set.
Brocky is doing very well in school academically. He is in a dual language class where he is learning Spanish and he is understanding it quite well from what the teacher tells us. He is a very smart kid!
Sarah will be coming up at the end of May for her summer break and we are looking forward to her visit. She and I will be going to Chicago in June for my cousin, Jenny's wedding so that will be a fun trip.
I haven't had a chance to post any new pictures yet, but I will try to get some up soon. I hope everyone is doing well!
Love,
Jeryl
